Technician analyzing dataDedicated Space

The IDeA National Resource for Quantitative Proteomics has approximately 7,500 square-feet of dedicated space for sample prep, instrumentation, offices, and meetings. All instrumentation is housed in specially designed facilities to accommodate the utility requirements of multiple mass spectrometers (air handling, uninterruptable electrical supply).

Additionally, the national resource operates multiple large-frame -80 freezers for sample storage prior to processing. All this ensures that samples are secure from the moment they arrive at our facility until analysis is complete.

Highly-Skilled Staff

Our staff has decades of combined experience in quantitative proteomics. Our team consists of instrumentation experts, proteomics specialists, experienced technicians, and highly skilled bioinformaticians, all under the leadership of nationally recognized faculty in the field of mass spectrometry-based proteomics.

Robust Sample Processing

No project is too big or too small. The National Resource maintains several high throughput robotics platforms for streamlined and precise sample processing. Our SOPs for sample preparation are available for users on our website and upon request.
